Our ambition is to increase the number of exhibitions and educational/public events, raising our activities to a qualitatively higher level in order to attract increasing numbers of visitors from Norway and abroad. The aim of our sponsorship programme is to achieve a balance between what The National Museum can offer, and what our partners can offer. Earmarked sponsorship
Outside The National Museum's main sponsorship programme, companies may wish to collaborate with the Museum by earmarking sponsorship funds for particular temporary exhibitions, arrangements, the acquisition of artwork or other activities planned by the museum.

Donations
Economic donations of any size will be gratefully accepted. Such donations will be used, for example, to buy artwork to complement the collection, to hasten necessary conservation work, and to make the work in the collection more easily accessible to the public by accelerating the registration process and photographic production.
